    I think Leicester were relegated at the end of the 2022/23 season so will have received Parachute Payments in seasons 23/24, 24/25 and 25/26 for those seasons together with the EFL central allocation for Championship clubs. For the coming season, instead they'll receive the Sky solidarity payments and the EFL central allocation for Lge 1. That's a huge drop for the club itself but they're fortunate in having very wealthy owners who will most likely cover it.

    ps I suspect you mean Keiran Maguire rather than Kevin Maguire.

    The 25p in the £ is paid to the “ owner” ie Chansiri in Wed’s case , even though it was he who mismanaged it all.

    it is paid to anyone with debt owner or not. He never did like a lot of owners do and change it to shares or anything so it just sat on the books

    They got relegated 22/23 but then promoted back to the Premier League 23/24 and relegated again last season so they're in their 1st year of parachute payments but all of that any the next 2 season's money is spent.

    Not sure where you got the list from @Sergio Pinto III@Sergio Pinto III . Looking at the names who are contracted by City, then the compilers have left off players, who are out on loan, but their contracts expire this summer.
    Missing are Andy Cook, Neill Byrne, & Clark Odur, and I may have missed some others out. So that certainly increases the number who may well leave.
    If the same is true at other clubs, then the list has huge gaps.
    Looking at our eight, then I would consider offering Tyreik Wright, Aden Baldwin and Antony Sarcevic a new contract.

    If no longer required at Cardiff, I would gladly take Perry Ng off their hands. I suspect we couldnt get anywhere near his salary expectation though

    Yeh, sadly it doesn't include loans, an oversight by the researcher. Anyway, theres probably a few players for every position that could improve us on a freebie. Plus Championship players looking to drop down I guess.
