    We obviously don't know which division we will be in next year but the majority of us probably think we remain in L1 (not been negative, just realistic).

    It sounds like Leicester might even run the risk of being in a Sheff Weds situation before long. They've already cashed in their parchment payment money this season too, so they are due sod all from the prem in the summer.

    That is just awful!! They will have to go into administration. With those kind of debts they are not sustainable as a business. Why did the owner borrow rather than pay upfront? I know businesses do borrow but not usually without considerable assets.

    £67,000 per week!!! That is like consuming all your seeds you had put away for planting in spring! I just can’t see away out for them! It is frightening and reminds me of our trauma in years gone past.

    People are laughing at Spurs at the moment but they somehow got Leicester to pay £30million for Winks and Skipp.

    A pretty uninspiring list really. Mind you, i cant imagine this time last may/june that many people looked at your Tilt/Swan types we brought in with much expectation.

    Always liked the look of Ryan Wintle whenever i've seen him on TV. Jensen Weir and Callum Connolly were linked in the last few windows for midfield depth, seems like one of those would be possible. James Tavernier has announced he is leaving Rangers this summer, might want to come back to Bradford for one last run? Especially if we move to a back 4, which we have done in recent games and seemingly the trend in the EFL seems to be more teams going back to a back 4 than the wing back tactic.

    Tavernier is on £30k a week apparently, can see him ending up in the Championship - even at 34. But yeh, what a cracking signing he would be for us. With his goalscoring record even better if he fancied a wing back role.

    even if they go into administration and come out of it the have to guarantee to repay football creditors in full to keep their league membership so all that debt will have to roll over into the new company. I just can not see how a club can function at League One level with that much debt

    If long throws are becoming a thing more and more in the game, then Charlie Goode will have some chasers. He could launch one into the mixer for Stevenage, think they have a really decent throw in goal conversation rate.

    I think there will be more City players to add to the list.Of those out on loan,I would have thought Cook,Byrne,and Smith would be out of contract.Not sure about Tommy Leigh,he might have another year left.

    Along with every club in the Championship and growing numbers in Lge 1, Leicester is unsustainable without the huge subsidies provided by their incredibly wealthy owners. In the case of former PL clubs, it's helped by the generosity of the parachute payment regime.

    The coming season will be a test for the Thai family which owns Leicester and will now be working to some extent within in a salary cap regime. In fairness, the amounts involved will be little more than chickenfeed for them. But if Leicester go into administration or worse, it should be a wake-up call for the EFL who have chosen to ignore the problem over many years. More positively, it will be a great opprtunity for the new IFR to flex his muscles and start to bring some sanity into the finances of the football sector. I'm not holding my breath though!

    Its a good tool to have as we experienced a few times with Brad Halliday.. A lot of goals come from not just hard, fast crosses but from high, looping balls into the box which require good timing to react to from both attackers and defenders.
    That can be throws, or kicks from dead ball situations.

    I thought it was very interesting that Kevin Maguire said that they had already spent that parachute money (like a payday loan he said!!) so all they would be getting next season is the League 1 money. Madness.

    Yes, and there is a certain minimum %age they have to pay other creditors otherwise they will incur -15 point deduction like Wednesday will have.
