Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could have a nice relaxing Tuesday night at VP , with a comfortable home win.
Unfortunately i don't think it will be that way. I think it will either be a tense nervous affair, like most recent home games or we will lose comfortably
Hope i am wrong and the fact a win for Plymouth which would drag us deeper into that top six chase, means it leaves space for us to exploit
But this is Bradford city and in all our promotions in my 50 years, the only time we looked comfortable was 1985
I think i had 4 heart attacks at Wolves.

It must just be me.....I love a night game whatever the weather. Its just something about being under the floodlights adds to the atmosphere for me. Bigger crowds would make it even better

Singer of the year, you should be loud and centre of the B block bantams , right next to the drum.
Unless by singer you mean sewing machine.

I fear tonight. If we lose I think we will totally bottle the whole thing and mentally won't come back. I hope I am wrong and we put in the kind of performance that has seen us beat many at home this season, who knows even a glimpse of what we say v Peterborough would be nice. I just fear the pressure is now getting to us, after over performing all season with the aim of avoiding relegation from the start we are now in a position where the pressure of finishing in a spot we have sat all season is now suddenly starting to tell.

A Peterborough home performance, rather than a Northampton would be nice, but 100% i would take the later, not sure my nerves will

    Ridiculous all this.

Draw at Stevenage and a victory at Barnsley-on-the-Beach and we're away. Not even that much to ask.

Now it's all frayed nerves and trying to repel on-song Plymouth on a Tuesday night, with the prospect of a pasting from Bolton on the cards.

Why oh why are we doing this to ourselves AGAIN?

It's the 'city way' apparently! I do hope for once we can buck that trend!

Must admit, I'm not nervous in the slightest about tonight or the top 6 finish. Feels like we just have so many factors that would need to go against us to tumble down to 7th. Tonight to me feels like it will be a very cagey game because neither side will play with much risk, a point kind of suits all parties.

We always find a way at home more often than not and we must have rarely if ever gone 3 or 4 home games without a win, which is what would need to happen for us to tumble out this week. I can see us tight tonight, one or two other results going our way and 73 being enough for at least 6th. Then go into Bolton with a bit more freedom of mind, probably win that one then get dicked 4-0 at Exeter next week :D

I am not sure a point does suit Plymouth assuming Luton beat Rotherham tonight, as they would slip below Luton.

A point isnt the end of the world for Plymouth, their away record against good sides is god awful and they are very good against the lower sides. Plymouths last 2 games are Port Vale (H) and Northampton (A), i guess they'll back themselves to get 6 points there. Whereas Luton who are very up and down away go to Rotherham, followed by Barnsley (H) and Bolton (A). Luton probably need 3 wins from 3, and it would be some effort to get that with their remaining ones. I cant see Luton picking up 9 points, looks more like 4 or 5 to me, tops. I think Plymouth will hope 73 is enough and Stevenage have a stumble tonight and the weekend.

I must admit, I think all 3 drop points tonight, just got a feeling that all will start feeling the pressure now and the Luton legs must be getting heavy. Older squad who have played Tues/Weds & Sat every week for a while. Another long coach journey for the Plymouth lads yesterday in a short space and Barnsley are showing they want to play for Hourihane before he goes and Darren Moore (who apparently will be at their game tonight) comes in.

I get the frustration, but why is a ‘pasting from Bolton on the cards’?

They’re almost as inconsistent as we’ve been recently - over last 10 games they’ve only gained 2 more points than us and that’s including deep into added time equalisers/winners.

Suppose it was the 3-0 whooping we got in the crappy Trophy, not that that matters much as results in there feel like they're picked out of a lottery machine at times.

Got a 0-0 at theirs in the league, but if I remember right that got a bit hairy...

I'm just aware they can blow teams away if they get on top, good goalscoring side on their day, whereas we can't match that.

You're right though, they've gone from losing at Port Vale to bashing Stevenage 5-1 (both away) so again, bit like that lottery machine scenario.

Another concern for me is that Plymouth seem to be pretty free scoring at the moment with 8 goals in 3 games.

They’re on a very good run and the only game they’ve lost since the beginning of March was against Bolton.

Our defence often looks nervy, and if we do concede or go two down then we haven’t got 3 goals in us, and we’re missing Tyreik and Bobby.

GA always says we concentrate on our own game, but as it stands I’m not looking forward to this one.

    Same, same.

I think we have to prove tonight that we are every bit as good as Bolton who beat them.

Because ultimately, if we're not, the playoffs will be a HUGE struggle and a season in the Championship would be a very, very long one.
