Bobby and Jenson will have been watched on a regular basis. Bobby's all round game has improved no end this season; the way he gets into the box and his working back off the ball(probably mentored by Sarcs). Looking at fees for other players, his age and now his experience, will we accept £2m that I think a championship club may be willing to pay?
In answer to a question above, I have heard absolutely nothing. All personal wondering.

Having not received any decent offers for decades, will we panic and jump at the first offer over a million?

Unfortunately, your spirits contradict Alexander's description of Bobby's injury in his post-match interview as ankle ligament damage. GA left open the question of the severity of the injury.

I don’t think you would be standing for around two hours and walking around, even in a protective boot, with a recently broken metatarsal.

The boot will concentrate the weight through the heel so it would be relatively safe. Whether it's sensible for that injury is another thing

I am amazed that the medical team and GA allowed Bobby to attend the match in the away end whilst wearing this protective boot.

Even so, not sure sitting in a packed away end at a football match is good for aiding recovery

I ruptured my Achilles which is a more serious injury but wore one of the those boots for three and a half months. During that time I didn’t get to City! The whole mechanics of walking distances, climbing and coming down steps is very difficult. You weight bear in a different way. Arguably you could put strains on muscles due to your altered posture/gait.

Pretty sure Pointon would have okayed it with the medical team at city to go sit with the fans at Barnsley.

No point speculating about what the injury may or not be as some on here have. I agree, I hope the injury doesn't see Bobby out for too long as he is a key player for us, him sat with the fans on Saturday doesn't tell.us anything about his injury though.

Ankle ligament damage, a quick google says it's a footballing term for a rolled ankle. Apparently there are 3 grades, with the recovery time for the worst level Grade 3, commonly 6-8 weeks. Grade 1, can be back within 2 weeks. I reckon we dont see him again until the play offs. GA didn't sound overly worried around the injury in his presser.

No point risking him when we only need a win tomorrow or in any of the remaining games to seal a play off place.

Obviously his ankle ligament needs some exercise but I imagine it would be better in a safe environment which I doubt is a football match. Maybe we are being given a nod and a wink;):p

We do seem to be jinxed/unlucky with injuries. I know every team has them, but, we always appear to lose our most influential players at critical times. T Wright showing the best form he has ever had for us, now Bobby, (and possibly Sarc playing through injury). These are players we simply cannot cover for and are our match winners. The rest are much of a sameness. I get a very bad feeling about Plymouth with their attack, and our defence. Of course we could blow them out of the water. Such is footy. Loose tomorrow and the wheels could come off and we drop out of the top six after Bolton on Saturday.
