Sorry Steve, but you don't spend the whole of the season in the top 6 and 3rd at Easter by being a poor team.

Cardiff lose against Bolton and we beat Stevenage then the gap is down to 4 points.

 

Well we have created an even bigger gap over the easter weekend beat Stevenage and we are more or less there .............only downers them dirty dog lovers getting a late winner.

What a come back, i thought both teams were poor first half other than a very good goal separating us. But we were so much better second half, fully deserved our win and that’s the playoffs all but secured.

As for the ref, feck off adding that much time on I’m sure he was trying to give us all a heart attack!

Even 2 points from the next 3 would leave them needing 4 points from the last 3 to be guaranteed top due to their far superior goal difference.
The Bolton game will certainly be interesting with both going into it with not much form and Bolton fans will be fuming that in recent weeks they only got 3 points from 3 draws in 4 games against Port Vale, Doncaster, Rotherham and Blackpool.

To have any chance we will have to win all 5 and hope for a miracle and possibly even a points deduction.

Whatever does happen it shows how incredible this season has been that we are after Easter and this is even a conversation.

 

Amazing that if we had beaten Cardiff at home we would be one point behind.

 

Oh I don’t know if I was a Cardiff fan I might be biting my nails.

 

One more win required?

 

Its always nice to dream but that ain't happening sadly. Its effectively an extra point gap with GD. If we win all 5 of our games (which won't happen), we get to 86 points. Even in that scenario Cardiff would just need 8 from their last 6.
Not being negative as today has been a fantastic day. Not only have we made a massive stride forward in our play off push, by getting another away win, that should give the lads a big confidence boost going into the final weeks.

 

What was Baldwins marker gesturing about for our second goal, maybe he didn't like the fact that as HE was the man in of Baldwin HE should have dealt with it, what's with all finger shaking.

 

If I was qualifying it, I'd give us a 15% chance. That's enough to keep me interested.

 

Yes I apologise were not poor ,can’t be like you said in top 6 all year ,and with our home record be poor , hope Alexander isn’t fooled by Powell and keeps playing him , he offers nothing his legs have gone for the style we play ,

 

That would be great to get it in front of a full house at Valley Parade next Saturday, against Stevenage.

 

Keeps them in the race with something to play for against Cardiff and Bolton, which hopefully will benefit us. If they can get a draw in both those games I'll almost develop a bit of a soft spot for them.
