How are you calculating that figure please? Given his level of investment against the value and cost of the lease on VP?

As others note above, I think an offer of 2.25m would be soundly rejected by FLPT so probably not enough to buy VP twice over…?

If ‘investment’ is also supposed to include the club e.g 5.5m to make a total of 10m to get to VP twice over, that would make a bit more sense , but, I can’t count that as investment as it involved the purchase of the club.

Don’t get me wrong, I feel like we’re in safe waters at the moment - but, what’s the next step? We’re probably all a bit surprised at the promotion opportunity that’s available this season and it’d be a shame if we haven’t given it the best shot we possibly can.

 

@Bigrod / @Pablo - it’s probably worth noting that the £4.5m figure stems from investment over the past 20 months. However, the purchasing of VP analogy came off the back of my question to @NorthernMonkey, where I asked him how much he thought Rupp had invested since 2021.

You’re correct to suggest offers to purchase VP for £2.25m would be laughed off, but I never suggested this was the case, either.

 

Why did you need to ask me how much he'd invested? Apparently you already stated that you know the answer and it's all in the public domain?

Mind you, if I'd booked a taxi to Leeds and he'd taken me in the completely wrong direction at first then spent £40 in fuel just getting me back to where I was originally I definitely wouldn't be on my knees thanking him.

I'm not sure it has been disclosed, it's just been suggested at in your word salad posts.

Similar to "infrastructure is night and day" since Rupp came in and "we generate 150% more commercial revenue than in 2016".

All meaningless, throwaway comments really, kind of like the thing I'd expect to hear from Ryan Sparks himself.
