Last years final was 1pm kick off which is great for two London teams but pretty crap for teams 200 miles away, meaning a very early start and not much time for a pre match drink.
I know there’s the option to stay over in hotels on the Saturday night but that’s a very expensive option for families.
Yet again the EFL not caring about fans.

Not sure about that but I remember many years ago the L2 final being on a Friday night. Torquay were playing in it.

Try using facts for a change, unless of course you're using some northern calender variation

If Bradford played Bolton or another Northern Side, I'd be quite happy for it to be held at Old Trafford, Everton's ground or the Ethiad.

Wembley's good but it's a Shizzle place to travel back from when you are given a stupid kick off time to jump through hoops with TV.

The super computer says we will Finnish 6th on 75 points, Lincoln first, Cardiff second and it will be Plymouth v Stockport in the final.

I really hope season ticket holders get the chance to retain their seats for the playoffs (should we get there).

I think they will, I don't see them wanting a repeat of the Carlisle game added to that the issues in the last month or so around the new gate. The only way I can see any being moved would be if this new gate meant we could give a 2,000 allocation in Midland Road but from what has been said I don't think they can.
Even though the standard thing these days is for home teams to give away fans the minimum allowed I'm expecting us to give the away team the TL Dallas and Midland Road, maybe cutting that down to 1 block if we want to go down the minimum allocation route. If we were to get Stevenage then we should be able to get away with giving them 2 blocks of Midland Road only, everyone else will ask for 2,000.

Fairly certain we did for Carlisle play off games a few years back. I remember sitting in my seat for the game and the people around me were the same folk as usual.

We'll be in there now, it's pretty much nailed on. I'm incredibly confident that none of the pack between Plymouth and Wycombe will get to 72/73 points now as neither can assemble any form and I'm sure a few still have to play each other. Even if we lose out we still might be set for 6th spot on 71 points.

You don't sit in the Midland Road do you? We all had to move to places where there were gaps.

Wasn't that only because Mark Hughes wanted City fans behind both goals? Shouldn't happen again this year.

I believe so, but I was replying to a post that suggested all season ticket holders sat in their own seats v Carlisle.

An interesting proposal, I hope this doesnt come across as being blase but its a great event going to Wembley if you've never previously been, and for our newer fans certainly something to look forward to, but in this day and age the cost for a family of 3/4 would be well into the £100s.
If another venue was put forward for two Northern teams for me it would have to be the new Everton stadium which fans who have been say is the best yet ( yes I'm a little bias), with 3 Northern teams occupying 3 of the pay off places with a big buffer with regards points it's very much a possibility.
Just the one problem how do you fit " Hill Dickinson Stadium" into " Que Sera Sera" or either of the other two options ;).

Has that ever been the situation in the past I cant recall it I've sat in my regular seat for home play off games, although we didnt have that option for the big cup games but that's been done to death many times before.

The only time I can think of is the Carlisle play off when their fans were in the home side of Midland Road so those fans couldn't get their normal seat but everyone else could. From what has been said that seemed to at least be partly down to Hughes wanting home fans behind each goal which I can't see happening again as I don't see Alexander being that bothered by it.
The one in between idea might be to give the away teams 2 blocks of Midland Road and only the upper tier of TL Dallas which is just over 2,100. With the way ticket money is split we'd only lose out on about £3,000
