Our away record is identical to last season. Exactly one point per match. 20 points from 20 matches (23 from 23 last season). IMG_1243.jpeg

And every team will be thinking that they can beat us at their ground.

We need 3 home wins or 12 more points across the board to get into the play offs I feel.

Put if you can’t win away then that’s an issue over 2 legs and maybe at Wembley.

77pts to get into the play offs? If 7th place win their remaining 7 games then that puts them on 80pts.
    Not happening.

Considering current form of and remaining fixtures then low 70s will be enough.

Even if we got to the Play Offs as you rightly point out, one leg is away. Given our current form we are highly likely to lose it.
On the off chance we had a better goal difference and progressed to Wembley, then the chances of winning away must be slender.

Kinda agree with this although our away form is disgusting and warrants discussion.

Dont know how it works but we dont do pressure ( Carlise Anyone )

We need the away leg first so we can play for a draw then at least we know what to do in the home leg

Yes anybody satisfied with it or doesnt see an issue is delusional.

We are limping over the line with narrow wins at home and Mansfield put an end to that. Cause for concern.

The away record over the whole season is mid table.
The away record over the last 10 games is relegation.
Last season we got over the line in third, this season only two get automatic promotion.
We have done exceptionally well at home, but have collapsed on our travels.
The chances of us still getting an automatic place this season, are probably on a par with a snowball in a hot hell.
We lost our way yesterday. We should have taken the lead... ...but failed.
Once the second went in, the mood was of utter dejection.
Yes having driven down to Burton, it was a good day out, other than the performance.
We should have gained a draw on the stats, but failed in the task.
It is now getting to the state that Supporters expect us to lose on the road. Confidence is shot.

We have done so well this season and better than most of us expected - but I honestly believe the squad of players we currently have probably can't take us any further. The Jan additions have been very disappointing and we face a very important summer if we are to maintain the momentum we have built.

Whatever happens in the next few matches we have had a good season and credit to all involved but the real challenge lies ahead

The January recruitment has really hurt us.

I still believe Evans was a good signing and I think we should be using him more in a three man midfield, especially away from home, because he has the capability to pass through or behind defences that Power and Metcalfe don’t.

We’ve been incredibly unlucky that Jackson, who came with a reputation of never getting injured, has been out after a couple of promising displays.
But the rest have been a waste of space really and mostly aren’t even making the matchday squad.

It’s hard to escape the feeling that Cooky would have grabbed us at least a couple of vital late goals from the bench, although I don’t think he was happy to stay and just play that role.

    Not a Chance of promotion.

We dont rise for the big games. Alexander not being able to motivate anyone (Carlisle playoff 2nd leg) Last season and this season same poor run of form after January.

Chairman looking to sell and no funds to play in the championship.

We will get tore apart from teams that have formed good partnerships between thier strikers.

At least we will get a bit of cash if we make the playoffs

We need 9 points from home games against Northampton, Plymouth, Stevenage and Bolton ,with away games at Wycombe, Barnsley and Exeter. I don’t think we’ll get anything at Wycombe or Barnsley might have a chance at Exeter if they’re already down, but if they need a win they will beat us. Which leaves us looking at the home games, should beat Northampton and I would fancy us to beat Stevenage but Plymouth will be difficult with the form they’re in so the Bolton game could be squeaky bum time.

I take it this is a wind up.

Not sure how you can blame GA for our play off defeat at Carlisle

He got us promoted last season..

He has maintained our position in the play off positions since August in a higher league

Just an attention seeker. Blaming someone for a game 6 months before he became manager shows that.

I’m no happy clapper I can assure everyone of that, but the negativity on here is unreal.
Before the new year we’d only lost twice away and one of those was at Orient who we battered for half an hour and had we scored chances we’d have been out of sight at half time.
Post New Year the games up to and including Wimbledon were awful I’ll agree to that but since then we’ve actually been the better team and with a clinical striker we’d have won all of them and be putting pressure on Cardiff.
So let’s not write off the away leg of a playoff as an automatic loss, Jeez.

I don’t think we are good enough for promotion though I hope they prove me wrong. However I have seen one or two on
On here and quite a few on social media suggesting we get rid of GA. In my opinion even if we were to lose all our remaining games I wouldn’t be tempted to fire him,we have to learn our lesson of all our years in the wilderness and one of them is constantly changing managers doesn’t work. We need stability and continuity of course next season is going to be tough probably with a lot of new players and without catastrophies he should be given time.

If we make playoffs we wanna be playing the away leg first so we know exactly what we need to do at home.

I don't want GA out but I want him to man up and react to the away form rather than do the same time after time after time. Doing that rarely improves results in any context. Has he been told to get us out of the play offs? We know promotion is unaffordable under Rupp.
