They have until Saturday to request the postponement and if they do it will be off. Nothing us or the EFL can do about it.

Galloway is a regular for Zimbabwe so it looks like they didn't think he would be fit but he's now played they think he might be fit enough to play.

Just 2 Saturday home games left now this season, and one of them will probably be moved to a 12.30 kick off.

10 players out injured, tough play on. 3 players going off to play in some minnow team, sure have a week off. I’ll never understand that rule.

I lost interest in England many years ago. I think the only players I can name now are Kane, Pickford and Bellingham.

As Bronco explained in another post, from the end of March you are not allowed to field an obviously weakend team.

Selfishly, only blessing is I was about to book my flight back from Amsterdam, so it’s saved this and a hotel cost. However loss is a hospitality ticket since we were making a day of it, which I assume the club don’t refund due to postponement?

Always find it odd that if any city or Plymouth fan who has bought a ticket for the game can now be recompensed if they can't make the rearranged game yet if you have a season ticket and now can't attend the rearranged game it's tough titty, sorry mate nowt can do

Don't worry, in the future you'll be able to voluntarily relieve yourself of your seat so as to avoid a club fine :)

Might as well just stop arranging league one fixtures during international breaks.

There is a difference imho. Injuries in most cases happen as an internal part of the club so it falls as being under the clubs control (even though injuries are usually random) where as a call up is totally out of the clubs control.

Personally I don't think there should be internationals during the season especially as more and more leagues are now aligning their leagues to the European Season which makes it easier to have a single block where internationals are played at the end of the season (J-League for example traditionally starts in Feb/Mar and ends Nov/Dec but its currently playing a mini-season before the next proper season starts in August to align with Europe. And next year the MLS is switching also). Without International breaks all the leagues could shorten their seasons (Even though L1/L2 doesn't have international breaks it still impacts it because it does impact where League and FA cup rounds can be played and even European matches can have an impact because those matches can also impact where Domestic cup rounds can be placed) and give a bigger block to play internationals and a single block would be more likely to make the situation where International teams have a empty slot so play pointless friendlies.

Otherwise as long as there are international windows during the season the only fair thing to do is let teams postpone matches for call ups. In many ways even 3 can be an excessively high number as you could be losing your star player who may be more important than 3 players of another team
