THIS IS OUR HOUSE.........but we reserve the right to expel some of you long serving tenants from your favourite seats to give them to one time visitors :(

I just like the idea of sitting in the warm with a pint until just before kick off. There’s a slightly better quality of beer served in a glass not plastic and the food is marginally better than the kiosks.
I’m happy to pay the £15 upgrade if I was able to do so.
The frustration is looming over the balcony from upper kop and seeing empty seats that I could have paid for.

Yet there are many hundreds of ‘tenants’ whom hoard their favourite seat in prime locations and barely ever use it.
The suggestion of identifying these people and asking them to make way is frowned upon.

Well if the turnstile scanning machines record who is actually in the ground, the club would be able to calculate how many Bantam Bar members were in attendance. The door staff could then let in a number up to the legal limit. Club generates income which is lost by people not in attendance, and those who want what is on offer can access it!

I don’t think that would work because the only access is via the doors behind the kop plus the whole point of upgrading is to be in there with enough time for food and a few drinks.
It just needs co-operation from fans who could be incentivised to inform the club before 12pm of their non attendance.

My point is regarding the apparent irony of the ST marketing campaign....'THIS IS OUR HOUSE' whilst apparently behind the scenes the powers that be are very actively appearing to want to entertain more away fans.

I struggle to see how the ‘time’ issue would be affected? Half time is the same duration, wether you are a member of the Bantams bar or you access it because there is spare capacity.

I've got 2 BB season tickets and on a fair few occasions I've needed a third ticket, including Huddersfield, Fleetwood and never had a problem getting the extra one

If we get an answer to question 2 that will go a long way to knowing how much of a worry it should be for fans in that area. Once we know what the circumstances would be for fans to be moved we will be able to work out how likely it is.

There's also generally lots of space in the main stand suites.

Can I ask how you obtained it because you can’t simply login and buy them and if you ring up the ticket office they just say it’s sold out.

You can't buy them from ticketmaster directly, you're looking at the wrong page.

There's one specifically for the suites and it asks that you contact the club for availability.

Filling it or pretty much filling it? We havent come close to filling our ground apart from Huddersfield game this season. An extra 1000 away seats for away fans = more income all things considered.

Where are you putting these extra 1000 away fans?

Indeed. I've heard that the intention is to make Blocks C, D & E in the main stand 'unreserved' for the games when the fans are evicted and the MR blocks are made available for away fans. First come, first served! A bit like at least one poster advocates should be the case at all of our away games. It's obviously not been announced yet and won't be done so until after the Early Bird period ends

    You heard it here first.

    :)

Yes, the club isn't very forthcoming with sharing the important details on how their proposal is intended to work. There's very little explanation in the 'operational update' on the when and the how. Fans who are buying STs in the MR need to understand these details. Maybe somebody at the club is still working on it?
