Your point about the home ends holds merit, with the way our home support has been going, there won't be any any available sections for those folk from the potentially affected areas in the Midland Road to move to especially at the games where the opposition has the potential for a following bigger than the standard away allocation because they are the ones that everyone wants to be at. The more you think about it the more it's a non starter, why alienate a section of your fan base because it's those big games where you really value your season ticket, not the games where the opposition brings their support in a few taxis.

Why do we need more space, we only need 2000 or 10%

A friend of mine has written a lengthy email with his concerns relating to the proposed segregation of fans in the MR stand. The email was sent to

    Ryan.Sparks@bradforcityafc.com
    Paula.Watson@bradfordcityafc.com
    Liam.Mould@bradfordcityafc.com
    questions@supportersboard.com
    hello@bantamstrust.co.uk

The last three appear to have got through to the recipient as expected. However the two to Ryan and Paula have been returned as 'undelivered' meaning that the email address is incorrect. That's despite the one to Liam with the same format of email address apparently getting through!

Does anybody know the correct emails for Ryan and Paula so he can resend the original email or are they no longer contactable via email?

Exactly my point throughout this entire debate and the debate regarding ticket returns if you can’t attend. The club need to do more to seek out the non attendees / seat blockers and ask them if their seats can be re-sold.
From my view in the upper kop last week against Orient I’d suggest there were at least 500-1000 seats empty in blocks A,B,C,D of MR and many many hundreds more in the main stand.

In Block C Main Stand there are 3 prime seats at the end of a row. One seat has only been sat in twice this season and the other two only once !!!! What a waste of prime seats!

The good news is that due to the progression of the club and increased demand for tickets, there are measures coming into place to allow people to free up those prime seats.
It’ll start off being voluntary but eventually enforced if this culture of buying a ST to reserve a seat for 4 games per season doesn’t stop.

And I'll repeat you worry too much, have you ever not been able to attend a game at Valley Parade because you couldn't get a ticket ?.

Try the NW corner. We Sat in Midland Road for six years near halfway line. It’s a fantastic view…..but NW corner top tier view can’t be beaten!

Well I can’t answer that because as a ST holder I don’t need to buy a ticket.
I did try to upgrade my ticket to a seat in the Bantams Bar for the Rotherham game and was told it was full, which on paper it was but in reality at 7.45pm it wasn’t.

No, you've made my point, you haven't because you don't want to be faced with that scenario so you bought a season ticket just as those who do not attend every game have done.
Why don't you have a season ticket that allows you into the Bantams Bar, you criticise not being able to get an upgrade to enter because because you were told it was full, buy season ticket that includes your addition to the Bantams Bar and all's good I assume ?, I say that as with us sitting in the area we sit in we have to purchase a suite upgrade or we're not allowed to sit in that area.

Sorry mate I don’t have a scooby do what you’re talking about.
My point is I wanted to buy something that would have earned extra revenue for the club not just on the ticket but also on several drinks at the bar and was told no even though it was half empty on the night.
Strangely you don’t see that as a problem and it’s why this club struggles to progress financially when people have that mindset.

Yeah. I imagine that extra £100 would have bought us a new striker.

It's not that difficult to follow, if you wanted a beer before the game why didn't you buy a season ticket that allowed you to drink in the Bantams Bar, as I posted for us to have the seats we have we need to buy a suite upgrade. if you take the chance of an upgrade on a match day basis and they say its full its hardly the clubs fault, just upgrade to the Bantams Bar when you renew ?.
Your right I don't see it as a problem because it isn't, its within your powers to rectify the situation as I've posted above, please don't question my support of Bradford City I'm paying over £1000 for mine and my grandsons seats next season because WE WANT TO SIT IN THE SEATS WE'VE SAT FOR 20+ YEARS AND ARE HAPPY TO PAY THE GOING RATE FOR THE PRIVILAGE.

I’m not questioning your support mate.
My point is I’m a casual Bantams Bar user (or would like to be) and even though I know 100% it’s not full, I can’t sit there unless as you rightly say I buy my ST in there.
I would like the club to put in a system that encourages fans who know they aren’t attending to free up their seats. It’s not rocket science

    It's the loyalty scheme m8.

You're only a casual fan of the Bantams bar and those that go every week get first priority.

I certainly didn't see you in there for the forest green home match last year anyway.

Like I say, I’m a casual user, I don’t want priority, just the opportunity to use it if the regular ST holders in that area CBA turning up on a cold wet Tuesday night.

anyway, 2 things will start to happen next season which are.
    1. Midland Rd E block ST holders will be asked to move several times and they’ll need somewhere acceptable to go.
    2. The club will first of all ask (enforce later) ST holders to release their seats if they cannot attend.
