Closer to his home in Coventry, and he has legend status there having played 352 games and scored 52 goals (most will have been penalties I reckon). He is to Preston what Stuart McCall is to us.

 

I just assumed he still lived in Coventry. In that case, it’s even more appealing

 

Fortunately Alexander still has over two years remaining on his three year contract and he’s never walked out of a club before. He also seems to love working with Sparks, Sharp and Gent so hopefully he will stay with us.

Our game with Plymouth could be at risk as well - checked back and it looks like they had postponements on the last 2 international breaks.

It's becoming a bit of a farce. They have squads to cover for players missing through injury, quite often lots at once, but can not cope without a few second rate players at the lower league level, going off to play in what are often pointless games. 3 call ups and they can call off the game, yet cant for injuries no matter how many .Different sport, but i read that Huddersfield Giants have 16 players missing for this weekend, but are still playing.

 

Bradford is more appealing than Coventry ! I can’t see him leaving tbh.

 

Agree 100% - I think Lincoln manipulated things when we were due to play them originally at VP. Don’t know if it’ll be in Plymouth’s interests to request a postponement - simply noting that it looks like they have before.

 

If I remember it, at the time, Lincoln were trying to avoid us as they were on a poor run. Don’t know what’s changed but they are flying now.

 

In the 8 games prior to our meeting at VP both teams were doing alright tbf.. I think they were more wary of of home form rather than their own form.
