With Pointon getting his goal that puts him up to 9 and Sarcevic's 2 on Saturday puts him on 10. Just having a look through recent seasons the last time I can find us having 2 players who scored 10+ in the league was 13/14

 

Another yellow card for Power that puts him onto 12 now, can't see him avoiding getting to 15 which would be 3 game ban.

 

Pennington has been abit of a liability, keeps letting the ball bounce and just tried the slowest cruyff turn I've ever witnessed. Needs to be careful here.

 

Its nothing personal against Wheatley but something stinks

Were high up in league 1 and are pinning hopes on a 20 year old who gets a guaranteed start despite not being proven or actually shown he can score goals.

We waited a month and an injury to clear up to sign him.

He may develop, he maybe become a world beater one day but I dont care about this at the moment

Recall our proven goal scorers and get ready for the playoffs with a settled team

We can't recall Cook, even if that was possible we would never do that. If you can't see from this game what Wheatley brings to team then you never will, his workrate is getting us up the pitch and stretching their defence which creates more space for the likes of Pointon and Sarcevic. You say Cook is a proven goalscorer but he is only proven in league 2

 

Honestly if you can't see what he brings to team then I don't know what to say.
He does all the hard work, all the running.

He just desperately needs a break in front of goal.

If he could finish he'd be playing much higher.
