Only thing I disagree with is Humps should be in for Pointon from start.

 

Wheatley starting feels like a 0 0, but I'll stick with a 1 0 win, come on city

 

Wheatley to score tonight, then go on a goal rush for the next ten games that sees us into 2nd place!

 

I really did think we'd see a bit more tinkering tonight, pleased he's kept a winning formation.

 

I'm Humphrys biggest critic, but he deserves a start after a few goals and an assist from the bench.

 

Good to see GA has abandoned his bonkers tinkering away from home. Its fair to say if Baldwin was available, we would have been unchanged in 3. As it is, he has made the right decision bringing in Touray instead of Wright or Kelly in my opinion.

You do wonder if he’s thinking if we can start quickly and go all out, get a good hold of the game, he can make early changes??

Re the lineup - seeing some of the comments on social media about Wheatley starting is hugely disappointing. Opinion and debate is always welcome, but some of comments about him are not great to read of someone representing the club.

 

Thought the article by the Brentford director of football last week was interesting about how much value there is from a data perspective about being in the right place at the right time to be able to have chances even if they aren't being taken. In short, the feeling is that if the player is in the right place/time to get the chance they will eventually score and could go on a strong run of goals.

 

Doubt it will be boggy.

As City’s preferred ‘ White Witch’ and as the match is massively important given last night’s favourable results I’ve consulted the leaves in my cauldron Tetleys are going 3-0 City, whilst Yorkshire Tea are 1-1, Ringtons are 0-0 and Black Moroccan are saying 89-74

 

Not understanding the Wheatley hate to be honest. i see a lot of potential in him, hes just lacking confidence. I think if he put away his chances against Peterborough and Luton, we’d be seeing a different player

that being said, our other options aren't the best. Mullin is not a lone striker. Humphrys is better on the wing, Swan ain't match fit, Jackson is injured and Powell is probably on a beach in Spain somewhere

 

Unless its rained heavily since the game against Sunderland it could be bobbly but I don't think it will be the quagmire it was for the Bristol City FA Cup game.

I know he's def scapegoat of the month. I really don't think deserving of such criticism
