    Agreed, I really think I’d hate it if we got back into the Premiership again. If we could become an established Championship side that would be wonderful.

    Open to interpretation - he said Millwall second so 'their' could have been referring to them. He could have worded it better. Im not sure about all the outrage.

    I am filing this with Michael Owen saying 'Bradford are on fire' when going two up against Villa.

    That was my reason for posting, because as City supporter at the match I didn't see any of our fans on the pitch.

    How is two tier. If Celtic or Rangers fans were rampaging across Europe causing trouble at almost every match then an outright ban might make sense but when it's restricted to just one match that is extreme. We would be seeing half the Italians banned as well on that as many of these have a violent rivalry with another. An away fan ban just for that game makes more sense just like how Frankfurt fans are banned when they play Napoli because that match has conistently had trouble

    Correct the security is farmed out to private security companies, I was told this by Roger Owen who went down with James Mason on behalf of the club for answers about that day.

    I remember leaving that game and struggling to get back to the coach, Millwall thugs attaching families everywhere. There were a couple of kids in our group who were visibly frightened.

    Fans simple means more than one. It can mean both or just multiples of one group. As @Sergio Pinto III@Sergio Pinto III pointed out as well he said Millwall second so the implication can also be their is related to Millwall.

    Sure he could have been clearer but he is speaking live and responding to a point Jim makes in the middle of the point he is making so it's not going to be perfectly worded as its not scripted to ensure it is

    Watched footy a while. The fans are the worst ever ……. Beating u scarfers. Women and young uns…. Terrible. I was at a polish match last week now that’s scary but it’s hoolie v hoolie

    Love his quote about radio presenters making comments about how football clubs should be run when they have no experience of that, he needs to remember his time at Crystal Palace when he was the chairman that took them into administration.
