    I tend to focus on City so don’t take too much notice of players from other teams. When we signed him I asked the other half. “Well no idea why Stockport haven’t resigned him but he is a fantastic footballer “

    He is a joy to watch. His positioning and fast decision making cannot be taught. He has a natural footballer’s brain. He just pops up all over the place. I hope we keep here, and manage his minutes, but above all else the wisdom he can pass on to younger footballers will be invaluable.


    He is a family man, and obviously upset about his mother’s illness. I hope that she makes a good recovery if that isn’t the case then I hope he understands that 21,000 fans will have their collective arms round him.

    Im actually trying to create a mural currently, just a personal project with the help of AI and a designer. Its basically all my favourites and the icons from 1990 onwards...

    Remember turning up against WBA at home being told we had sold him to West Ham attmosphere being pretty bad only for us to win 2-0 think Tinnion got a belter that day

    I’d have Andrew Davies in there, but maybe that’s a personal choice.

    yeah.. Jimmy Quinn played for us in '89.
    but what a fantastic career he had from 1977 to 2006 at 46 yr old... played 578 games in the Football League, scoring 210 goals.

    Used to absolutely dislike Sarcevic when he played against us. Now I am borderline in love with the man!! Absolute leader on the pitch and we are always a better team when he is out there.
