Wheatley could do with showing some of that aggresion Mullin has in his locker. I thought he was bullied throughout the first half

 

Well for me based on gis recent cameos I think Hump should be rewarded with a start. He has earned his shirt back. Nobody else is pulling up trees leading the line.

That said, he did it at LAM yesterday. That ball to feet, turned his man, charge forward and pass was world class. Am i over egging it?!

 

It was a moment of real quality that often separates the top teams in the division from those lower down. Won the match really.

 

Totally agree he deserves to start but just don’t think CF is where he or we get the best of him. Can he produce the same output as Pointon from the left, not according to GA. Also very different players. So where does he play?

That said having his qualities on the pitch can be the difference as he showed yesterday. He just generally looks more confident at the moment also.

 

We will see time will tell. But he will have a good career

 

I think he’s been started. And didn’t do anything. Until Alexander plays him on the wing, starts him on the wing, then he’s better as a sub. The problem is, we don’t really have any striker who can play to our formation. whose fault is that?

If you read their forum there is a bit of a power struggle going in at Orient. DoF , Head of recruitment, owners and manager all involved apparantly ? DoF suddenly departed last week. I think it was Wellens saying to the owners..This is the “ shit show” you want me to manage?

 

I feel for the orient fans. Got a good friend who supports them but lives up here and actually has a city season ticket. But orient are his first love and he was in the away end yesterday, was bizarre shaking hands yesterday as he walked down the road as opposed to beers in the stand!

They have really been through the mill over recent years. Bat sh!t owners who almost destroyed the club, dropping to non- league. Then getting rid of the ownership back into the league with Justin Edinburgh who then tragically suddenly died whilst in post. They seemed to be on the up getting to the playoffs last year but wheels are falling off this season. Lost some very influencial players to injury, including new first choice keeper who broke his ankle in the warm up of a match. Couldn't make that up! No one supports a team like orient for glory, they are proper fans.

I hope they can stay up.

 

Yes I worked in Leyton for three years , and many of the workforce were “ Orient” . A decent bunch for sure .

 

I get what you're saying but I'm really enjoying the impact he's having from the bench at the moment.

 

Met a few before the game. Top lads, real proper football people. They deserve better than they're getting at the moment.

 

I think his problem is that there's no denying his talent in the final third but does he put in the hard yards when we don't have the ball. I personally don't feel I've seen enough of him in the left attacking role to assess that but it feels from GA comments that he sees him more as an impact sub.

Feel like maybe he'll get a start on weds with Pointon the one to move to the bench. Also hope they start with Swan. I quite like Wheatley but her just doesn't seem to enough of a goal they for a striker

 

The problem on Wed is their pitch is a monumental bog . I think PV have switched tactics to avoid the ball touching the grass, or what’s left of it? Baldwin could be badly missed ?

I'm not convinced that the Baldwin tackle was any more than a yellow.. he got the ball and momentum took down the player.
