Yes it is my prerogative and as frustrated as you seem to be we beat Stockport both home and away , Bolton who were going very well when we played them yet we got a point, Stevenage who were going well in the league when we played them we also got a point, Reading behave we more than match them yesterday and if our manager had left the defence that had done so well in the previous 89 minutes we would have possibly won, yes we got beat against Town but if its a two leg play off we gave them a football lesson at Valley Parade, beat Reading at home, so from your examples I'd suggest we can certainly more than match them.
I do agree we haven't been performing apart from Posh at home yet still getting results, but as we know its down to the team on the day, and Alexander tells us he recruited players who have had success and promotions in the past.

Absolutely am not sure Mr Rupp wants to fund us in the Championship
Staying at this level next season would be a challenge GA may have already peaked

If we win 2-0 at home and lose 1-0 away, what happens?

I watched the whole game, we where not great, but we manage the game quite well, and just deserved to be one up. first goal on 90 minutes keeper could not save but the second goal went through his legs. think he could have saved that one
we deserved to win but we just cant see games out.

Cook wasn’t playing and I imagine he was causing unrest in the dressing room by persistently banging on GA’s door.
He wasn’t happy not playing so we really didn’t have a choice.

I might have this wrong, but can't a player be recalled for the playoffs, because the official season is over. Now that would be a fairytale ending :grinning:

No, he can’t return until the transfer window re-opens.

How come Reading were able to recall a loanee in time to play against us?. Is it because he was playing in the National League?

Not sure we bought Evans? Perhaps signed him on the same terms he had at Blackpool. Not seen any suggestion we paid a fee.

Yesterday’s result was a real shame 3 points would have put us in a great position. But now the pressure is back on us however I watched the Leyton orient v Barnsley match and Orient were rubbish Barnsley are improving though.

Doesn't Evans have to play a certain number of games etc to get a 1 year contract. We dont want him next year. We need cover and mobility like Metcalfe. We just cant afford it !

This is obviously all hypothetical but if Cook was still part of the squad and there was one place left on the bench for either him or Mullin, I'd choose Cook every time. Same for midfield if Patto was still here and the choice for the last place on the bench was between him, Evans, Sibley or White, it would be Patto that would get the nod from me. And if Brad was still a city player and there was a place on the bench for a RWB, I'd definitely have him over Ashby.
I bet I'm not the only one who would still choose 2 players that were nowhere near the matchday squad before they left and one who was rarely in it over any of the players we brought in, and that speaks volumes about just how poor our January recruitment has been, imo.

I actually didn't have a problem with any of the departures as I felt that the squad had to evolve and improve. Unfortunately, as things stand, it looks like each of the replacements look to be downgrades on what we already had.
