Mark Hughes did it against Carlisle, now GA has done it against Reading. Do these guys never learn, or do they think they are infallible?

 

Struggling to understand why we give the opposition hope by sitting back to defend a lead. Poss poor management of the game. Listening to commentary we were comfortable and looking more likely to score the 2 nd goal.

I want to hear what logic GA comes out with on that tactical change the cost us 3 valuable points.

 

If we lose to Port Vale then I would sack GA from away games. Get a new gaffer in for them like Evans and Houillier. He can keep the home games if he agrees to 50% wage cut.

 

Wycombe ,Huddersfield and Stockport will be top 6, we will finish 7th and Alexander will claim how well we’ve done.

 

Exactly why? We did nothing. Literally a mistake by their goalkeeper gifted us a goal. It wasn’t as pathetic an effort as the recent away games, but how do you figure we deserved more. Was it the numerous shots on goal??? Was it our scintillating attacking play? Was it the heroics of their keeper? That was a dull and insipid watch and the only reason we may have deserved more is that we were slightly less crap than they were. And look where that got us!

 

Like i said an average keeper saves that… Walker is below average.. just rooted to his spot.. he was at fault at Wimbledon for the first goal.. and was at fault for both goals today…

He made the same sub against Rotherham and we didn’t let 2 in. Most managers will stick a defender on to shore up the defence with minutes to go. Both goals were dreadful defending and I’m struggling to see how it’s Alexander’s fault.
Seems that the players are getting away with underperforming away by the fans and laying the blame solely at the manager. He played our strongest XI today and we looked very average. It’s a very different mentality playing at home to away and the advantage is normally with the home team. The away record is bad at the moment but again this afternoon I’ve seen posters say that we don’t deserve the playoffs and suggesting Alexander lost the game to help Reading out. I really cannot fathom the mindset of these people.

Ill be honest I thought neither side deserved to win. Just a terrible nothing sort of game.

Joe Wright wasn’t at fault for any of the goals. The problem was not making the most of our possession and forward play. We had enough to be at least 2-0 up but poor passing decisions cost us the game. How many times did we fail to cross or pass to one of their defenders. That’s the most frustrating part for me.

 

Isn’t he statistically one of the best keepers in the league?
