Similar type of game to the Peterborough game, they want to play out from the back don't look too comfortable on it. When they get the ball the switch to the wing backs is always on to stretch them.

They have them, they are just in front of the advertising board just in front of each penalty along the side and 1 each just wide of the penalty area behind the goal.

You keep playing out from the back Reading.

Wheatley is a little boy lost, needs to get into the game.

If we had a decent right wing back, we’d be higher up the league

Neufville and Pennington are just terrible with the ball.

Neither look at all comfortable and seemingly terrified of trying anything positive with it

We need that ball in the box more
Lots of huffing and puffing from knocking the ball back so often

Wheatley is just not good enough. The January recruits have been very disappointing

Considering our poor away form, this has been a more solid half.

Plenty to build on in the second half and get a win.

1st goal in this match really is going to be key, we get it and they have to open up more which should suit us on the counter, they get it and they will have something to hang onto and will sit even deeper.

From an entertainment point of view that was like having teeth pulled, both teams cancelling each other out but as usual we look solid at the back. Their style suits us down to the ground.

Much better away performance so far.
My main gripe is that when we have so much possession we should be getting more ball into the box but are content to pass it around the final third with not much penetration.

Certainly a better away performance, first time we’ve put in a competitive away performance since Blackpool. Again need to have more quality with that final ball though. I presume Readings usual strategy is just to sit in deep and hope Marriott produces something. Both times I’ve seen them this season they’ve been very poor.

    Wheatley is ineffective.

I’d like to see Humps come on sooner rather than later

    Same for Mullin
