Wigan away

I was going to go but after the away horror shows i’ll give it a miss!

 

Until the club pull their finger out away, I don't think I will be spending large amounts of cash travelling and following them. If we were losing but were putting in a good effort I wouldn't mind, but we seem to be getting worse and worse away from home and just having our bellies tickled and seeing no chance of anything for the game.

Wigan do look to have turned a bit of a corner even though they lost at the weekend, they gave Stockport a scare.

 

And had two players sent off in the process, I'm going to Wigan I just hope we get a strong referee on the day, the way they went about their game at Valley Parade was shocking they thought they could bully both our younger players in Metcalfe and Pointon and it didnt work.

 

Well, they roughed up Pointon to the extent that he missed the next few games with a badly cut foot

 

I was meaning more he'd shy away from physical challenges which neither did. but yes they left their mark on him for sure, that's when we could do with an "enforcer" like Bobby Campbell looking after the kids.

 

Unfortunately I can't make the game now, I have two adult tickets available if anyone wants them.
