WHAT WAS ALEXANDER THINKING?! Bradford City BEATEN AGAIN Away from Home vs AFC Wimbledon...
I don't always agree with this lad but I believe what he's saying with regards yesterday game was how most fans felt on seeing the starting 11.

    #AFCW 3-1 #bcafc match review
And this guy, I didn't realise Wimbledon had only won one home win since September.

Banbrotam in the comments the only one going into bat for Alexander is amusing.

No one is really outstanding away from home
Point is, why change a winning team to put sub standard players in.
    Unacceptable

The line up you mention is what Alexander would use every time until they are either unavailable or he starts over thinking things. I have no idea why he made so many changes to his favoured system, especially when it had worked the last two games.

I was thinking more about earlier in the season and games at Northampton, Doncaster (twice), Orient, Bolton, Cheltenham, Rotherham where we had a decent side out and failed to put on a convincing display.

Cold light of day: Graham had a nightmare yesterday, and I think we're all now tired of the random selections and changes.

He's got away with it well during his time here, he is a tinkerer through and through, so I dont blame him for expecting better than we got as we have often done a lot better, but still... that was a winnable away game and imperative that we fielded our strongest possible side, and nobody is buying that was it.

    Sort it out, GA.

Not between Tuesday and Saturdays . Wed is recovery and treatment , It’s light training on Thursday . Travel on Fridays and light stuff . Bump games are held on Thursdays between fringe and younger lads . So when do they do heavy training between Tues Sat ?

I’d read about only one win since September, so Christ, why did they make us look like mugs. Totally peed off with this away malarkey. Real Madrid at home and Dog and Duck away.

I get what you’re saying but it is still possible to lose away games even with your preferred team. The point is you give yourselves a better chance of winning when you play a settled winning team.
Regarding the games you mention I think we can discount Northampton as it was the first game and nobody really knew the preferred XI. We still should have won that game BTW.
The Orient and Rotherham games we started those games very very strongly and should have been out of sight before half time had we taken chances.
Cheltenham, Bolton and Donny cup games it was the reserves who played.
Bolton away in the league you’d take a point for sure.

I'm not disagreeing with the view that GA's tinkering is suicidal in most away games. I just think there's possibly more to it than that and that something in our preparation for away fixtures is sadly awry. We can only hope that the barrage of criticism that has come his way after yesterday might make Graham rethink his approach but his stubbornness would suggest possibly not. He has become noticeably tetchy in recent interviews, just as he did when the pressure was on in the run in last season. If truth be told, although we deserved promotion, we were bloody lucky to achieve it.

He used the bench poorly vs Stockport. No changes in second half until 94th minute. He then dropped Bobby and Sarcevic when if he’d brought them off sooner they might have been able to start and at least give us an hour vs Wimbledon?

Thursday is usually their day off. Not sure if it's any different on weeks where we have Tuesday /Saturday games?

Bolton was one of many games where first half we were utterly hopeless then second half we were the better side. Annoyingly it's happened too many times this season.
To add, not a coincidence we're better after the half time additions of Sarce and Baldwin.....

It looks that way doesn't it, he said the other week he'd asked the players how they preferred to play and Power spoke with the players and said they want to go at teams, that didn't last long but then again did the starting 11 feel confident they could go at Wimbledon, was it a mentality thing yesterday.

See Wigan were at their bully boy tactics again yesterday 2 players sent off, they do seem to pick the wrong opposition to try to bully, plenty County players are more than capable of looking after themselves.

Our result against County can't be downplayed, they are a very good side in this division.

Agree and that's why I wasn't critical of Alexander making substitutions late in the game, apart from Jacko coming on at half time the lads had grafted and looked comfortable to see the game out, where as yesterday what can we say Alexander obviously though the players who came in were capable of getting a result.

There's a picture developing here whether the fans like it or not. It's becoming increasingly obvious that our home form is built on this strategy of resting key players away from home. I'm interested to hear from posters which statement you agree with:

    A) We have a squad of professional footballers. They should be able to maintain their form away from home and Alexander should be picking his best XI for every game.
    B) We have enough quality in the squad to be able to perform better away from home even with players being rested. It's more about our set up and style of play away from home that is the problem.
    C) Alexander knows what his capacity is in terms of performance and this strategy is gaining us the best points potential that we are capable of. If he plays key players away from home then our home form will start to dip.
    D) Other
