Great numbers. I remember going to Elm Park with probably about 2-300 when we won 3-0 (Zabica played in net and played well, it’s a myth he was shit just because of that horror show against Sunderland)

I went the year before that when we drew 0-0 after recently signing Jamie Lawrence. Only a few hundred City in the away end behind the goal on a baking late Summer's day. The change in the level of our support since then is huge.

 

Yep that was our last go to game at Elm Park. Never forget it . We got lost in Reading ( before the days of Sat Nav’s ) , then spotted this car with a Reading FC sticker in the back window ….” Follow that car “ , we did , ended up in a Tescos car park , a woman going shopping ! We arrived with 5 mins to spare in the end . Still laugh about it today!

 

It was a pain to get to the night we played them in the replay in the FA Cup game, plus their fans are complete t××ts.

 

Not keen on the new ground - it has a feel of going to a test match. Very sterile for a football match
