Metcalfe was excellent again . Not the same impact as Sat , but in a different way as it was a different opponent . A lot of their “ big” players ….weren't !

 

What happened to the floodlights,it looked a bit darker in the corner between the kop and Midland road.

 

Jackson was streets ahead of Wheatley tonight. I dont wish to be harsh on the kid, but Jackson's experience and movement, and little pushes made for a much harder time for their centre half.

 

Certainly needed green and orange team leaders

 

Two lights on midland road by corner on the roof fascia had gone out

 

I don't know but they were out for quite a while. I wonder if it had anything to do with the yellow/green team leader tannoy announcements. Thankfully the officials didn't seem to notice or if they did thought it was OK to continue.

 

Whoa whoa everywhere we go, watching Bradford Cityee putting on a show.

This team/squad are proper bantams they never let up. They dug and fought for every ball and pass. It was superb to watch. Yes we had wayward passes and gave the ball away, but they just fought for it so we had possession again. It wasn’t as easy on the eye as Saturday but it was just as good to watch. Well done lads.

Metcalfe is a gem. Destined for big things.

 

Aren't Stockport the top away team in the league? A very good win indeed and the Dogs lose .... happy week all ;-)

Defence was brilliant. Excellent finish by Sars. Let's sort out the away form and chase down Lincoln.....I live in hope!!

 

Agree metcalfe is great, we coped quite well without Power tonight , I genuinely think Metcalfe would be a bigger miss.

 

I think Evans is still setting in. Apart from some wayward passes, thought he did well. Likewise Wheatley, he needs a calm hand on his shoulder and the goals will come.

 

Have we got our City back? I thinks so.

Two vastly different games.

I thought Tilt was immense tonight. Evans was off with his passing but got stuck in and alongside Metcalfe were effective across the middle.

Sarcevic!! What can you say? It was in the stars he would score tonight.

Wheatley looks inexperienced and was bullied off the ball too often.

Overall a good few days and we have more than enough points to stay up now! What an achievement really.

 

Great performance that, arguably better than Saturday for me. Completely nullified a very good outfit. A more typical Bradford performance, swapping creativity for discipline and sheer bloody minded effort. But then that's what I expect to have to do against a Dave Challinor side as they don't let up on you
Special mention to Jenson Metcalfe, enjoy his performances as long as you can cos I don't expect him to be here long term, he's too good for this division.. Now starting to dominate games, telling signs he's getting ready to step up a level. Never know , it might be with us.

 

Tilt is an absolute colossus, that rampaging run down the wing in the second half was my moment of the match, it was like watching a lion hunt their prey. Opponents must be terrified of him!
