About as much of a Tuesday night league game as you’d expect, plenty of effort but little quality.

I see Norwood has picked up the mantle of reffing the game …Trying to get people booked .

Because they are sitting deep and relying on nullifying Wheatleys pace he’s lightweight so far and being bullied a bit.

Their pace up top could be a danger though , otherwise nothing in it.

Evans doing the job so far .

 

Even half of football played at a decent tempo. Never gonna be the space available like there was against woeful Peterborough, this lot are decent. Neither team really created much of note but that's down to the committment from the two sides.

 

We could do with the leadership of Power on the pitch but Evans is just a much better footballer. Pointon, Metcalfe and Tilt have all been decent

 

Their pace worries me up top. They've been a decent ball away from getting in on goal a handful of times. We need to score first because we don't want to be chasing the game against their counter.

 

On what I’ve seen so far of Evans, I think I prefer Power to be honest

 

Evans is tidy in what he does but he dont move much. Metcalfe has been excellent again

Heard our friend on the mic shout a particularly non PC slur that rhymes with 'plastic'. Haven't heard it since the 90s.

 

He was hardly given any quality balls.

 

I heard that too. I think the mic must be down near both sets of fans as heard them a lot clearly at 0-0

 

The way the commentator on Sky talks, you’d think this is a cup game with us against a team from the Champions League. Not sure why this clown covers our games when he always seems to want us to lose

 

Surely got to make a couple of subs now to take the sting out of this momentum
