My crafts weren't ok but not great. Got a special star initial



The craft helper did tell me to go for the one that ended up being Dzeko but a 39 year old former Man City player wasn't an exactly appealing punt to take. Mings scores well when he starts but it's hot and miss if he starts. Think I would have liked Becker of those

Apparently they really wanted me to have Paquiez seeing as he was in both crafts. TBH Busi isn't bad although looking at his history he has only become a regular starter in the last 10ish games so I need to check up if that's simply because a starter has been injured which won't be great if it is. Mind you I can use him in-season where as Hajdari who is the best I couldn't.

I have to say I'm surprised they haven't added another clue type. Position would reveal would be a decent clue to be able to get. Although maybe that would see Keepers and Forward cards to run out as you would always always take a punt on one of those over a Defender or Midfielder

 

Bold choice going for Chicago. They have made a couple of good signing but they also sold probably their most talent player in Gutiérrez so I'm not sure they are actually any stronger. Mind you I also guess they were some of the cheaper cards and if you are going mainly for streaks you should be able to win it back over the season

 

Having got the Prediction League portal sorted I'm working on the next part of my sorare tools. This is a tool to help with the daily quest.

Will show a list of matches in the game week ordered by kick off and split by day. It will show all your cards in each match and relevant stats for the daily quests (And will hopefully have an ability where you can enter what the quest is and the trigger point and it will highlight the best selections).

Annoyingly the API doesn't seem to let you fetch the fixtures for the current game week so I'm having to test a little blind as I'm working off next week gw's data

 

Here is what I've got at the moment



So you would select the game week It will show you a list of all the upcoming matches for that GW (any that have been played should filter out but I can't test that until next week). You then select the mission you are working on and the threshold to achieve it (if there is one).

It will then give you a list of the predicted best 6. But you can also look through each game where it will highlight good cards based on a colour scheme. If the average is over 30% of the target it will be bronze, Silver over 60%, Gold over 80% and purple if over 100% of the target

 

I'm leaving it for the night as I've got to put together and send my end of week invoices and I also have some paid work I need to start in about an hour but here is what its looking like right now




I've lost the suggested player section right now as its causing trouble but as you can see here we are looking at Chippy's players for Next Tuesday and we are looking at a mission for total passes with the needed figure being 50. Barracks is in Purple meaning his average is over the target. We can also see his last 10 matches where the green blobs are matches he has exceeded the target value and grey are ones he didn't so you see he has achieved it 6 times in the last 10 and missed on 1 occasion.

We can also see that Sane is in gold as is average is just under 10 from the target so would seem like a good choice but we can see from the blobs with x's in them he hasn't played in 4 of the last 10 and in the other 6 he hasn't made the target

HOWEVER if we change the target to 40 we see



And we see Barracks becomes an even more obvious choice but Sane becomes a better choice as when he does play he usually makes 40 passes. I will note Osimhen gets a bronze rating and looking at that I might need to increase how close to the the target a player needs to be to get bronze (and in turn probably silver)

Anyway I think it should really help with some of the missions and help all of us get more essence or clues

 

Actually before I was heading to bed I had an idea and was able to find a way to force it to fetch the current weeks figures so if any of you want to test it go ahead. I'll add it to the tab bar when I'm sure its working fine and I've made some additional tweaks (And if its not working during that time then I'm probably working on it)

Ok today's missions included a stat I hadn't accounted for so I've made some changes to include those. However it made the number of stats on the page too much so it now filters the fields based on what you select. At the moment it will always show Decisive and All Round scores plus the single relevant stat. I might change it so I group stats though so we might have say Defensive stats, attacking stats, Possession Stats etc and each mission will be categorised and it will show all the stats in that category when that mission is selected. I'm still undecided on this though.

Might also need to add a position filter as one of todays was Keeper scoring a goal so only showing keepers would be useful .

Missed out on any Limited Thresholds but a T2 card and 3408 essence (It might jump up a bit as I have two lineups with a keeper who is at half time and hasn't conceded in the first half)

 

At least with a card you know it's going to be an ok level. With essence the 1000 only gets you a completely blind craft and seeing as you have a 75% chance of getting a Standard Craft which has a 93% chance of crafting a t3 or below it's the safer bet. To improve your odds you are having to spend a decent amount extra on clues.

And if you get lucky and get a special t2 which you have a 15% chance of getting you still have an 80% chance of getting the same as you would get winning a a t2 reward while having to spend even more on clues to try and improve the odds of being in the 20% of a t1 or above. The Special star is even worse, you have a 9.9% chance of getting that but have a 94% chance of getting a t3 or below and as you know there is a star card in there you absolutely have to spend a fortune in essence to fully clue up. It's only the Special full star where a 1000 blind open ends up being better than a card but as you have a 0.01% chance of getting this you are still better with the card

 

Wouldn't be an awful card last season but hasn't been in the squad for the first 2 games this season. Can't find any news of an injury but it's strange as he was on loan with Gamba last season and they signed him permanently so you would think he would still be a starter.

Need to calculate if I have enough to craft and buy clues if I get a special draw which I'll do later
