I read elsewhere it was more recent with Chris Brandon and James Hanson

Andy Kiwomya and Des Hamilton another pair. Seem to remember them both scoring at Blackpool in play offs in 1996?

 

I don't think that is correct. Brandon and Hanson both played together in a 3-0 defeat of Chesterfield, but only Brandon scored. Brandon only scored another 2 goals for City, away to Cheltenham and in a draw with Notts County in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. I don't think Hanson was in the team for either of those matches.

 

I think Andy Kiwomya was born in Huddersfield.

Current 11 actively playing, who were born in Bradford and the surroundings. PS had to cheat on the keeper, he is from Huddersfield but we can borrow him as he came through our youth system. I don't think many people from Bradford have made the game as a professional goalkeeper!!!

Keighley has a Bradford postcode and is in the metropolitan borough of Bradford last time I checked!!! Ditto Shipley, Bingley, Howarth etc.

 

Has there been a professional keeper from Bradford at Anytime ? Can't think of one off the top of my head ?
