    No he didn’t say that the night before,he said it on the Monday podcast. Then on the Friday Andy Madley a Premier league ref said it was fit but when the Match referee arrived on the Saturday he called it off. Someone at the club said he barely looked at the pitch and was desperate to get back to Plymouth.

    I guess that the pitch could well cut up badly. Playable at the start…..but the last 20 minutes could leave it looking like a WW1 battlefield.

    There is a round yellow thing in the sky this morning. In Cullingworth it has already started to melt the snow and the temperature outside is 1c. So I am hopeful the ground will be ok by lunch time. No rain,snow or ice until well after the match has finished. It is bound to do damage on the pitch though.

    The PP Rotherham game had a 10am pitch inspection so going on that logic if no inspection is cslled within the hour or so it should be fine
