Regardless, I'm not perturbed by Peterborough at VP, moreso Wycombe away and Stockport at home of the teams in the top half.

Only 1 game tonight that has an impact on the play off race with Mansfield vs Peterborough, a draw or Mansfield win is the best.

Stevenage were due to play Barnsley tonight but that game was postponed at 6:30 this evening due to a waterlogged pitch, going to be a very busy end to the season for Barnsley as they've still got 17 games to play

 

Stevenage left that late, Imagine the Barnsley fans were almost there by 6.30

 

Watching Chelsea v. Leeds tonight. Interesting to see that Leeds have changed their socks to blue as both teams wear white.
Remember Huddersfield v. City when City changed their kit to pale blue?
The excuse was that both wear black socks, so City 'had to have a kit change' most of us thought it was rubbish as City could have changed socks and still have played in C&A.

Could have played that game in our traditional colours.

 

The away kit for Leeds is blue and the 3rd kit is a strange black kit with blue & yellow dotted scarves so the home shirt was the only one they could wear and they can't wear white socks so they had to change them.
I don't think anyone said we couldn't mix and match kits but that is a last resort for clubs and it's easier to change the whole kit. I'd also say a kit of claret and amber shirt, black shorts and sky blue socks would look very strange.

 

Mansfield v Peterborough tonight both teams are wearing blue shorts.

 

Peterborough have just gone 2-0 up so up to 8th and only 5 points behind us now, huge game on Saturday for both sides.

I didn't realise Reading had recovered so much, a win tonight against Wigan puts them on 43 points and only 6 points behind. They are currently 1-1 with Wigan.

 

Reading get a late winner through Paudie O'Connor to put them up to 10th and 6 points behind us, Peterborough hold on 2-1 to go up to 8th and 5 points behind.

The mid table pack are starting to catch us up, it shows how much we’ve lost form with the games against Cardiff,Huddersfield,Luton and Lincoln yielding 10 points in the first half of the season but the reverse fixtures we got none, zilch. We picked up 4 points from Peterborough away and Stockport away, it will be interesting to see how many we get from the home games against them in the next few days.

 

Bet hes trying to make out that they are an amazing teameven though they stsnd midtable

 

I think they will sneak into the play offs. But we will see

 

If Peterborough get into the playoffs we won’t as I think 6th place is what we are clinging onto now. Cardiff, Lincoln, Stockport and Bolton will finish above us and though it hurts to say it I think Huddersfield will be above us at seasons end. Then there’s a host of clubs including us chasing 6th spot.

 

We are like the rider in the tour de France that breaks away from the pack then gets reigned back in as he runs out of energy. Two or three sides below us that are capable of putting good runs together, some already doing so. Williams has pulled Peterborough from the edges of relegation to the edge of the playoffs.

 

I watched that, hilarious shoot out! To be fair no misses all saves but some really rubbish penalties. I was hoping they would win though as thought a possible trip to wembley may distract them from the league
