    Sounds like their fans want Robbie Savage. David Wagner turned them down, as did Richardson at Reading. GA was 33/1 at 8pm last night from a screenshot on their forum.

    Hopefully Blackburn appoint someone soon and put this speculation to bed and hopefully doesnt unsettle GA in the meantime.

    I cant see it being GA by the way.

    Talking of Clough, his name never seems to get mentioned in the betting odds when a manager positions becomes vacant, and neither does Challinor, which surprises me.

    Money talks, but GA seems a pretty decent and sensible chap to me
    He has built something here and i think he would like to give it a go at getting us to the championship, if not this season then next
    He also has credit in the bank and a bit of security
    Join Blackburn and they still struggle, he would soon be out of a job.
    Who knows in football though

    The odds have now been taken down which normally means they either think an appointment is about to happen or someone has put big money on a person.
    If the market comes back and Alexander is still 4/1 I wouldn't be worried as it only takes a small bet for someone to come in a lot to odds of around 4/1. The only time to really worry about it is if he gets to 1/2 or lower.

    The only reason I see him taking the job is that he sees this as his only chance of a Championship job and he would have to force a move through as I would image we'll have a decent compensation clause in his contract. If we demand the full compensation I don't see him going as I don't see Blackburn paying compensation for anyone other than maybe Hughes as that would be a hope of a PR stunt to please some fans.

    In theory yes but if offered the City managers job....surely thats better than been number 2 at Blackburn.
