I have been to so many forums like this over the years where questions were asked from the floor and despite discontent nobody had the nerve to ask difficult questions. Geoff Richmond and Stafford had the audience wrapped round their little fingers

 

I remember Lennie Lawrence doing one in the main stand one year. He told David Markham to put his pen away as everything was 'Off the Record'.

 

I disagree.

I went to one at the fat pot (Gt Horton WMC) and big Geoff was grilled, to put it politely, for about 40 minutes. He eventually left to a round of applause due to how he received and answered the questions but it certainly felt awkward at times and certainly no one was "afraid" to ask any difficult questions.

The first question re Cook (Halliday, Pattison) - seriously, is that a topic really needing to be asked? What do people expect, a Cook testimonial or bus parade??!!

I mean this respectfully, Cook is a legend. But honestly is that really the level of question been asked to the leaders of this club??!! My mind blows sometimes.

……add to that the question in the transfer window. I sympathise with these guys so far. This is an opportunity to ask meaningful questions, not subtly/unsubtly offer a personal (unrealistic) opinion on the recent transfer window! Christ!!!
