I saw enough in the game on Saturday to see he offers stuff none of our other squad players do, no disrespect but let's base our opinions on what we see not other fans opinions, if he gets regular game time and I dont see any reason why he won't I think he's capable of getting around 10 goals before the end of the season, time will tell.

Everyone else was watching the game , you were the one watching a different occassion;). Mullin brought an instant presence to the front three, something we have utterly missed since Jan 25 , despite the results .

I think that is right and I think Mullin fits our style of player perfectly he takes a lot of handling and keeps defenders busy and leaves room for others like Wright on Saturday

Of course we were the only club chasing players in the transfer window!
Unfortunately it was not the case and most currently have greater resources than us
Look at Port vale and Doncaster, both finished ahead of us last season and Wimbledon are falling away after a bright start
Our start to the season has raised expectations
But we are doing far better than anyone thought
    I suspect even the club

Might time the 'up to speed' just right for a strong finish and the play offs. In the meantime, there are options up front and, perhaps more tellingly, more competition for a starting berth.

Bobby hasn't been up to speed yet following his injury and played, so I don't envisage to much hesitancy on GAs part to play them if he deems fit.
After all, they will still have been doing some sort of training and will be as capable as anyone who was coming back from an injury for example.

I think with regards Jacko Alexander had little option IMO but to start him, and to be fair he looked sharp until as Alexander said he started cramping up, with regards Mullin he did exactly what most fans who have seen him during his career does, being a pain in the arse to defenders and bitching to the referee at every challenge, very much in the Billy Sharpe mould, just Billy has done it at all higher level.
I believe once he was brought on he was going to grasp the chance with both hands (sorry to say) something Humphrys had not done for the previous 60 minutes.

No way that was happening. GA clearly didnt rate him enough to play him whilst on loan, so why would he go back for him permanently?

He should stay out the way of Jake Young.

I agree about Mullin. Did nothing to deserve the encomiums he received. And although the win was welcome we were playing a struggling side who allowed our wingbacks to make progress down the flanks. The better teams stop us there and that's when we struggle. Maybe the new additions will improve us but if we're continuing to play one up top then Mullin may well prove to be just as ineffective as Humphrys.

I know. I mentioned them 3 as i think GA probably wanted to keep them as squad members but they wanted to leave for first team action, therefore forcing us to bring in 3 more than planned.

They weren’t struggling leading up to the game were they? Three wins and a draw in their last 4 league games . So that argument disappears straightaway . Orient were their last opponents and walloped them 3-0. We were the strugglers right?

    From today’s T&A:

But chief executive Ryan Sparks confirmed that there are incentives in place for the 31-year-old to stay with City next season.

Sparks told the T&A: “If Lee starts a certain amount of games and we finish in a certain area of the table, there is a chance for him to continue his time with us.

“But we also have an option in our favour should we wish to continue it. It’s a great opportunity for both parties.

“He’s a player from before my time at Valley Parade but highly thought of by my predecessors that I’ve spoken to.

“Lee worked with David (Sharpe) as well at Wigan, so there are multiple people around me who are very confident that he’s going to come and fit right into the way we are.

“I’ve not met him myself yet but I’m sure I will do tomorrow. He seems a top guy and very excited about the prospect of getting right amongst it with us.”

Evans, who played 42 times on loan under Phil Parkinson in League One in 2015/16, was confirmed in a busy end to the window.

    Doncaster shouldn't go down.

But Doncaster shouldn't even be bottom four right now, so who knows!
