I get that but there seems to be little confidence in the signing from the club?

 

I can’t recall the last time a fanbase has been as overwhelmingly negative about one of their departing players as Blackpool fans are with Lee Evans.

Those PRO's seem to outweigh the CON's and definitely better than Tommy Leigh coming on in my opinion....

If he’s played 45 games for Blackpool in L1 last year he’s an upgrade, no matter what their fans say.

i’ll remember Tommy for the chip that led to Sarcevic 90+6 and for a good goal at Cardiff, but he is too soft to play CM, we lacked control when he played there, and he’s just a L2 player. We paid six figures for him? Good luck to him though.

Evans is an experienced Welsh international and the bar is set so low by the lads who’ve filled in for Metcalfe and Power, It’d be hard not to be an upgrade!

 

We offered him a 6 month contract and he said yes. Blackpool have paid him up. Not sure of all the ins and outs of the finances but that is it in a nutshell. Good negotiations in my view as if things do not work out we don’t have a player who is not part of the plan
