I know it's hard to say and hiccups can happen but how confident are you that we can get Lee or Beesley or even better both over the line.

Difficult to tell with Lee. He could be a game winner but there will be big expectations that go with him.

McIntyre link is odd but wonder if there was more to the loan, city usually structure it if they play a certain amount games they have to stay for season, and the probably knew they needed the loan spot for January additions. He was a very well liked member of squad I know that. Surely nobody could think Neil Byrne or Kelly was a better player

I view it sort of like when Sheff Utd signed James Hanson - a short term fix to try get us over the line, but he could be sold on if we went up. I think he’d be here to take some of the hits and attention off Mullin, though, whereas Hanson was only a bit part player for the Blades.

Fwiw I would say Beesley on the basis that Bronco’s source and mine definitely won’t be the same and we’ve both heard Beesley. Chuck in the Gary Bowyer interview after their game yesterday (‘football is a business’ ‘if you were an electrician and you got an offer to better your money you’d go’) and the fact Luton have since signed Devante Cole, after being linked with Beesley previously, and the dominoes are all lining up.

maybe the Dogs might try hijack the deal but they have loads of striker ammo there whereas at City he’d be starting every week.
