Can the 4th official make a decision on a goal?
The fourth official does not have the authority to make decisions on goals. Their role is to assist the referee and assistant referees, and they are not involved in the final decision-making process regarding goals. The referee, assistant referees, and other match officials are responsible for making decisions on goals, penalties, and other incidents during a match.
We don't know if the 4th official saw the lap top, but it was certainly the 4th official who clearly gestured to the referee that the ball struck Jackson on the arm.

 

I said to Ethan during the game our crosses need to be better as Clark was confidently taking high crosses, saying I wish our keeper could be relied upon with regards crosses and then Walker spills that high ball.

Why does Walker take so much time over his free kicks?

There was at least 4 occasions today where he could have taken the kick quickly and turned their defence. Instead he dilly dallied, spun the ball, patted the grass and then checked his socks meanwhile they get back into a defensive shape.

 

It certainly isn't! Seriously, I would have loved us to have got a 2nd and that was a good chance but he would have been absolutely slated if a cross had been cut out and they broke away and scored. GA is a pragmatic manager and I guarantee he would have been applauding when TW went for the flag.
Wright's had lots of criticism this season and most of it has been fair but it was good to see him come on and make a difference. Thought it was very noticeable at the end how pleased his team mates were for him. Clearly a popular lad in the dressing room....

I think the analytical guys do. They prob have apps that also track the metres covered etc from the gps in the sports bra type things they all wear, so they use the data real time and use to inform for subs etc

 

Random musings from today. More like a Bradford City performance, fight and desire thats been lacking of late. Still look ragged at times though and the normally decent defence has had a poor January. Kayden Jackson had a good debut and Mullins cameo showed plenty to be excited about, turn of pace over 10 yards and holds the ball up like a striker should. Hopefully goes some way to solving our 'number 9' problems. And one of the best strikes i've ever seen at Valley Parade from Tyreik Wright after great wing play from Neufville, chuffed for the lad, you can see how well liked he is amongst his team mates.

 

Are you kidding . Most sides have them on tripods in front of the dug out . Most clubs have two or three of em . The tv images clearly show the iPad just to the left of the 4 th official .

Probably been mentioned already aswell as the rest of the awful officiating,
but where is the common sense in rewarding Doncaster 8 minutes extra time when that has come entirely from their time wasting? Do not reward time wasting and better yet nipping it in the bud rather than encouraging it.
