He had a solid game and he reads the play well and is able to get himself into the right position especially covering others.

GA was going ballistic with Baldwin and Wright who both went for the same ball and without Pennington putting his head in danger they were in on goal

Great block from Penno off the line but he looked rusty and his distribution was very poor today. We’ll let him off as it was out of character.

We created nothing at all for Mullin in his half hour but bringing Lapslie on with him was not ideal. Jackson had a decent debut.

Tilt had a few iffy moments too. That said, it was much better from Neufville and I’m looking forward to seeing Mullin and Jackson starting. They both have a presence we’ve lacked lately. Both looked decent.

Mullin should have had a pen and at least another free kick in the channels but ref was adamant he was awarding him nothing.

BTW........... WTF was that Donny away kit?! We've seen some guff over the years but jesus wept, that thing was horrendous!

Having the goal disallowed is setting a very dangerous precedent, yes it was the correct decision.. but if teams start waving ipads in officials faces which influences their decision then the games 100% gone..
FA need to act on this otherwise its its going to keep happening..

 

it is already against the Laws of the Game so if it has happened to en I would expected the 4th official to be removed from his position for a period of time and also whoever was involved on their bench to be punished too.

that is if it happens which will be an easy check for the club and FA by looking at the CCTV.
