As for the hand ball disallowed goal if the ref hasn’t seen it, or the linesman, no way has the 4th official, so must have been shown it by Doncaster
This goes totally against ethics, we don’t have VAR in our league, so clubs should not be allowed to bring their own
Are we now going to see every decision checked on I pads. The ref makes the decision and right or wrong it should stand

If the 4th official is 100% certain that it’s handball from his angle and distance rather than the onfield official and linesman looking directly across the pitch we are reaching new levels of the capability of the human eye.

if that turns out to be right I’ll bow to his superhuman powers of being able to see through players and be 100% certain from 50 yards away.

 

They only blow the whistle and signal a goal if it's only just gone over the line and players continue to play, every other time they will just leave it as it's clear a goal has been scored

I don't think it's ridiculous to say the 4th official had the best view as he was directly behind it to see the ball hit the arm. The assistant referee has a doncaster player blocking his view and the referee is the wrong side to see it clearly as I would imagine from his view it could be arm or hip.

I struggle to believe that the 4th official took his view from a monitor as doing that puts him in line for a big disciplinary problem so it's not worth the risk for him if it's proven.

From block B of the main stand I said it was handball straight away and didn't even celebrate until the referee walked away from the assistant referee as I was convinced it was going to be disallowed.
