    Have you seen his stats? Yes he's having a good season and yes he looked decent against us but there's nothing to suggest this lad could take us to the next level and it's a huge gamble paying a fee.

    Depending on the fee we may well have dodged a bullet imo.

    Luton were interested in signing him too but have moved on to Devante Cole. They obviously weren't prepared to pay what Burton are wanting either.

    RE Beesley, I don’t believe our interest was merely fake interest, ala Kieffer Moore the year we brought in Kai Bruenker.

    The right people are saying we are after him (as well as the ITKs and usual paper sources).

    Burton are in a strong position though, this late in the window, and we’re not gonna outbid Luton for a player, especially when he is a short term fix and offers little resale potential, so maybe we will have to move onto another target this weekend?
