I think once people are put off by, err.... shall we say, turgid performances, then any boost or glimmer of hope could sway someone.

Almost every appearance has been from the bench though and a lot of them he was playing wide.

I don't think he's ever been a natural finisher but has 130 championship appearances so we should be getting someone who has ability.
