Feels like it's getting to be the norm at this level now compared to last time we were here. Last time we were in L1, there were always a club or two that felt a level above spending wise. This time there's a good 10-12 clubs that over a season could easily spend 7 figures on their transfers. Sides coming down will all be in that boat and if your MKs & Salfords of L2 come up, you could easily see half the league in 26/267 spending a good £300k/£400k on one player a good 3 or 4 times that season, like it's nothing.

We need to find a way to have some disposable income a season and/or be cracking recruiters.

 

Safely parking this substantial 6 figure bid in the same bull shit camp as :
Kiefer Moore (2 of the leadership team at city were in situ then may not have been them but defo aware)
Buying back VP
Devoloping our own trainning
Can fund us to the championship

honestly it’s the fact they think we are so thick which annoys me with all of the above and Beesley will be same, we tried honestly guys we tried. Give over and be honest!

 

Regardless of what I think about the calibre of these strikers, I hope we're going to sign some creative players to give them some chances to score.
