While the rest of the teams going for promotion throughtout every league is strengthening we have got a whole lot weaker ........ very very poor indeed

 

I really hope we have one of these signings in the bag and able to play tomorrow. The thought of another game of seeing Humphrey's jogging around with an expression like he's carrying the world on his back is gonna tip me over the edge!

 

If we see Mullin, Jackson and Wheatley all sign, does that signal a change to 3412?

Or do we see Mullin up top, Humphrys and Jackson behind him?

 

Sounds we’ve stacked up quite a few signings. Can’t be getting Mullin, Wheatley and Jackson surely? All supposedly agreed deals from what we’ve heard on here. Beesley was also linked last week but no mention deal was agreed with him?

 

Would you be happy challenging for headers or trying with little or no chance of winning them i dont know what the convo is or how the training goes but if GA cannot see that he is not a striker by now then may as well give it up .................

 

I think we have space for 2 more don’t we but id expect Nick Powell to be released so that should allow for all 3 to come in. Not sure on the loan situation and how many we can and can’t get into a match day squad.

 

I think we’ve got more fairy stories on here than on Jackanory

 

No not got an inside line. Just heard a deal had been agreed with Mullin. Sounds like others have heard Jackson and Wheatley had agreed deals now though….none have been announced. Wonder if any have signed or are club holding back to persue another target now???

 

Wheatley wont need registering as a squad member, only 20.

Why not? We are absolutely shite at the top end of the field. Humphrys struggling as a CF, Swan out for a wee while, Kavanagh is dogshit, Cook has gone and Powell is MIA.

Id say 3 new additions to the forward line is pretty much what we need. With Bobbys form up and down, Sarcevic unable to complete 3 games in a row - we may be looking at 2 up top. Heres hoping.

 

I agree about other teams but we have really only released players who wouldn't be playing in the main? We need reinforcements for the squad depth (and a change in form) but if we get people who may be in the 18 on a match day surely we are stronger? Our bench in January had no game changers on it. All speculative i know. Let's see

 

If we dont bring in another CB, it tells me we are going to a back 4, if the 3 signings are true.

Lost 2 this window, Baldwin and Pennington cant string 5 or 6 games it feels like without one picking up something. Jackson playing right wing, even Neufville tried out there. Pointon or Sarce in the 10, Tyriek and Humps on the left. Mullin, Wheatley and Swan as thr striker options.

 

Anyone else read the GA interview about loans and think it's his way of saying White wont be in many squads?
