If true, you would imagine this is cover for Sarce whilst he is out injured, and competition/rotation when Sarce is back.

Could be a good signing this if true

 

Ideally we want personnel that fit the system we have played throughout 2025. I know people want a change of formation but I can see why the staff dont want to start all over again getting the team to adapt to a completely new set up.

I heard Sarce has been offered a deal at Salford. So wel see how that pans out.

 

He was told 'City have bought him'.

 

Halliday, Pattison and Cook wernt regulars. Sarcevic is a GA favourite so I just dont see it. Plus he has been very infleuntial this season.

 

I mentioned him for an article to the FLW editors and they told me "that's too unrealistic"

So, how long until they post an article about it?

 

Not sure how I feel about that. I could see us wanting him on loan to cover for Sarc but if it's perm, maybe there's something in the Salford interest.

To his credit, he is never injured and he gives 100%, so won't slag him off..just not Championship standard imo.

 

I'm sure Salford have been in for him, but they'll have more chance in the Summer when he's out of contract than now, like you say Influential and a Fav

 

Sarcevic is probably our best signings of recent years. But age catches up with everyone

The full quote on the injuries is on the T&A, it doesn't sound like Swan or Sarcevic is anything major and he seems to suggest that Sarcevic won't be out for long. From this I'd say Sarcevic should be back in next week or so but Swan might be later on in February.

He'll see the season out with us, I'm sure.
Come the summer when he's out of contract,he will have plenty of suiters.

 

If he goes in June when his contract up he's only 5 months older
