josh stones was bought by York for £350,000 hes on big money in national league and wigan have a buy back clause, York have turned down intrest from Barnsley and Hibs. If he was to sign for us We'd have to pay serious money maybe £1million+ for a young nationa league player. He will not leave York cheap there going for promotion I cant see it happening to city, if anything he goes back to Wigan i think.

 

Kayden Jackson as a new right wing option wouldn't be too bad at this level, imagine that means Sarce might be a bit worse than we thought or White isnt what we expected. Unless we aren't replacing Byrne or McIntyre and instead are going back 4 and we need another attacking option for a new shape?

Jackson looks to have played right wing or right of a front 3 only for years now, looks a long long time since he played as a striker for a long time, so on paper he looks a Sarce alternative in the current setup.

But if we have 2 CBs out and none in, it leaves up very very short playing a back 3, especially with now injury prone Baldwin and Pennington are. Some time to go in the window obvs
