This is the negative side of having a large squad. Not everyone can play, constant rotation is the only way to keep a happy camp. However, in my view you can only do that successfully if every single player is top notch.

he was injured at Wrexham and they had Championship forwards on Championship wages so I wouldnt take last season’s numbers at face value, competing with good players for game time. Cracking rib and puncturing lung was hardly an ideal prep, esp when you are in a squad with about six strikers and then trying to get up to speed in a squad progressing at the rate of knots.

We're league one and we're not scoring 5 every week in the divisions before after spending 8 times the budget on players as everyone else.

His record at this level is very poor so why would it inspire confidence?

Fingers crossed I'm wrong because if not the season will just peter out but he'll need to perform at a level he's previously been unable to reach so for me, it's very unlikely.

However now I've been informed by someone on X that Tilt has just started following him and wasn't following him before. So I've no idea with this one now...

I've posted similar but he'll still be our best striker I'd suggest. Hopefully it's good enough.

 

I've nowt against Mullin, he'll be better than Humphrys so that's a positive. Hope that will see Humps given a run in his more suited position.

 

Signing Mullin won't excite me, but I'd take him over Humphrys in a heartbeat. His stats this season blow Humps out of the water.

It would be an underwhelming signing, but having a CF who can actually finish would be a big improvement.

Can't see us paying the sort of money York would be asking, they are under no pressure to sell either what with having wealthy benefactors.
