Hasn't done it in league one when given the chance, could be argued it's the flat track bully scenario where he's had a higher quality of player around him every season at Wrexham. I'd have taken him in a heartbeat in league 2 though.

I've not even read this thread but seen the nae Josh Stones and got very very excited. I wondered about him. My best mate's a York fan and says he's absolutely class

He would be i agree, I've just asked on X and a few think it's AI, so can probably bin this one off.

York paying league 2 wages. Can see them doing well in league 2 although Rochdale look favourites to win it. York should win the playoffs.

York have a wealthy backer. They paid £2/300k for Stones last January which was cheap.

We've been through the can he do it at League 1 etc and done it to death. Most signings are a gamble.... he's extremely highly rated at York and Scottish Prem teams wanted him. And not the St Mirrens... Hearts and Hibs were two who I heard.

He is a similar player to Cook but a lot younger. Not an out an out goalscorer, but scores and creates havoc.

Anyway it won't happen, i'm shutting up and off back in my box again.
