    I would love to see the ground re configured
    Adjust midland road to accommodate more away fans
    TLDallss home supporters, family stand , alcohol free ,sweet shop ,tickets at a lower cost, our fans at both ends and counter the turning around
    No matter what GA says as it’s a compliment it does appear we rarely win when this happens

    Yeah it's an awful planned design of the stand.

    I know years back I was enquiring with Dave Baldwin if we could convert some of the use of the catering block into a betting outlet however he said it would be more hassle than it was worth.

    We looked into it with him and it's was a mess back there.

    I thought they might have looked into doing something when they installed the scoreboard there but for the amount of time the stand does get used it's not really worth it

    Toilets I’d give you but they do seem to be working on them from reports

    covers - when the game was off the other week and the question put out if we had more games called off than others no one could say we had or even really remember many tha had been called off for frozen pitches so are they really a massive issue?

    TL Dallas facilities what do you want to happen? Them to redesign and rebuild it so tha the tea bar is away from the pitch with an enclosed area? Again for an area not used massively. Yes it would be nice to have a fullly enclosed ground with a larger end behind that goal but as we don’t currently fill the stadium is it really needed now?

    I assume the budget was set before the beginning of the season?

    I anticipate that the income has been greater than anticipated, with POTD gate receipts perhaps 40% higher than projected?

    If there is a surplus, then that would be the time to allocate funds to some of these projects.

    Also having reduced the playing squad with six out and three in (I accept City may well be paying towards Cookie and Byrne), then again I would assume that the amount budgeted, would not be used.

    As we are looking at potentially more loans in, and perhaps a couple leaving. Then the players wage budget may well be well in profit.

    The club have already got our season ticket money so what's the problem, until we reach saturation level with regards season ticket sale what's the problem loads of seats available.

    Remember Barrow away a few years ago before they redeveloped the away end - they managed it somehow with a bit of canvas sheeting!!! Managed to get beers in there not in plain sight of the pitch!!

    You really shouldn't penalise the hand that feeds you that's my point, we sold around 15,000 or so season ticket this season if you say we get 2,000 away fans that still leaves 7,000 seats for the POTD fans.

    It will only come in if we are selling out regularly weeks before games which isn't likely to happen any time soon, it's nothing to worry about.

    And that is why they aren't on about introducing it yet.

    Given the lack of willing to invest in the squad I reckon the issue of spare seats might well resolve itself going forward.

    Yeah, I've given my 6 back just incase someone attending for the first time wants prime seats. No loyalty points but @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam sent me 6000 kudos points or summat.

    Hopefully they'll still be enthused come March because whoever it is, they'll need to hit the ground running.

    Some interesting items in the latest Report on the Supporters Trust meeting with the Club on 9 February 2026, including:
    • Retail income;
    • 26/27 season tickets;
    • Official and practical capacity of Valley Parade;
    • New system where season ticket holders communicate if you can’t attend;
    • New segregation point/gate in Midland Road stand;
    • LED advertising boards; and
    • Mbanq ("it is bigger than anything the Club has had before").

    There are some important issues raised in the Minutes. This one caught my eye ....

    "Next season the Club will be bringing in a system where season ticket holders have to communicate if you can’t attend. We will still get our loyalty points but our seat will be able to be resold to others. We asked about those who have bought season tickets just to support the club, and said that that season ticket redistribution goes on amongst supporters anyway and will work in the same way. It was said those supporters who may have bought a seat to support the club would still need to say it’s free for Club resale. And the Club are aware re season tickets going to other supporter friends and family. It’s just if your season ticket can’t be used."

    This will undoubtedly cause some confusion for many and I await the club advising us all of the conditions attached to the re-selling idea. How much notice is necessary? Will the ST holder receive some kind of payment? What happens if you don't tell the club you're not going? Is there a limit on non-attendances?

    My concern comes from a slightly different pov. In the statement to the Trust, he club recognises that the current STs are often used by fans other than the ST holder. That shouldn't be a surprise. For those who don't know, that's in breach of the ST terms & conditions which clearly states that STs are for personal use and are not transferable. We've probably all done it though! I wonder at what point once the re-selling arrangements are put in place that the club starts to enforce the ST Ts & Cs on a strict basis? Or will the club simply not bother and ignore the money thay could be earning by bringing it into line with their re-selling proposal? I suspect it will be the former over time.
