Humphrys on the left feeding a clinical finisher could really make all the difference in spite of our obvious current frailties elsewhere on the pitch.

Humphrys will never play as the left 10 as he doesn't have the defensive discipline to play it.

Ronan Hale, 27 year old forward. He's 7 goals from 19 this season in the Scottish champ, 30 from 67 at Ross County overall. Had a pretty much 1 in 2 record in Ireland.

If he was 22/23/24 then it's a decent spend with a chance of resale. At 27, 28 at the start of next season, theres less a chance of getting the money back. It's a spend for promotion and thats it, but the Scottish Champ is a naff standard to know if he's ant good.

I do agree Dave but the type of performances coupled with the lack of urgency/action in the transfer market is compounding things.

Hopefully an improved performance on Saturday with 3 points will help steady the ship a little.
