Suspect the proposed ground purchase was so one of Rupp's subsidiary companies could loan the club the purchase price and get all the money back with interest similar to what Gibb had done - eg lining Rupps pockets further at our expense. We are just one big cash cow for the guy. Sooner he does one the better, once he starts asking a realistic price for us. Tossa.

The majority weren't happy with many players brought in by Gent your comment above being a perfect example along with Tyler Smith untimatly someone has got to say that's too much we can't afford him, but that's where you have to trust your manager IMO, Alexander says what positions he wants to strengthen the side and Gent and Sharpe find them.
If your manager is adamant said player will strengthen your squad and be an asset £500,000 shouldn't be beyond a promotion chasing League One club in this day and age when you think about the Charlie Wyke signing in 2017.

Crawley Town only average around 3-5k attendance and in the time since wagmi were involved (since left?) they've been promoted (ahead of us) and relegated.

Under Rupp we've just done it the other way round !
