Just getting away with it for probably the last 10 when every person down there was praying for us to get in a good posistion come the Jan window where we could strengthen ..............the players got us there and when it mattered the owners and recruitment have let them down.

Btw whats the first 20 games got to do with it im on about now and if the season started today that squad would be in trouble big time.

We have lost key players from the 1st 20 games either been sold or are injured and our plan to combat players being sold and players that are injury prone are to replace them with 3 loan players .............how many players out 7 ???????
To be replaced by 3 ............defend it sll you want but apart from the Blackpool game and the 2nd half against Cardiff the rest and lets be right aint not just been poor its been a fooking disgrace .............that no show at Huddersfield was bad enough but that last night was on another level ..............still Donny at home next im sure there will be another reaction pt 3 incoming

 

Mullin would be an underwhelming signing, but I'd be delighted to see him in place of Humphrys. At least he might show some interest in trying.

Humphrys has 0.24 goals per a 90. This is the same as Aaron McClean delivered in his first League One season with us

 

To be honest, i have a feeling the back 5 has seen it's day with out lot? Ashby does not look a wing back in the slightest to me so far, he's a full back. Touray looks a bit too defensive to be a pushing on wing back, he looks more suited to being in a back 4. Power and Metcalfe dont have the legs to play hoofball as the midfield are just a mile away from the front line.

I'll be honest, i think a 4231 is probably the better way for the players we have left. If Power and Metcalfe want to sit deep, fine, but have a 10 in the space between them and the strikers. If Neufville can only attack, let him play RW and have Ashby behind. Pointon in the 10 so he isnt wasting energy chasing shadows out wide and can do what he does best and operate in tight spaces. Have Tyreik on the left or Humphrys, Sibley can play there too. Have Tilt, Wright, Kelly, Baldwin and Pennington fight for 2 spots, looks like Pennington has covered RB in a back 4 at one stage in his career for a short time too. Use the Byrne saving and other savings on another CM, that Weird lad was mentioned from Wigan.

If we are going hoof, then at least give the striker options around him, playing hoof with 3 sitting CB and 2 sitting DMs is just insanity.

 

I'm fully expecting Tayo to return on loan, it's got Sparks written all over it.

With regards to Mullin, if we have really bombed out Andy Cook to bring him in I really have to question the sanity of ALL at the club involved on transfers.
