Sorry yes typo he was at QPR. He looks rusty simple as that, it’s such a pivotal role in our team wing backs and he’s no where near what we need now.

 

He is not even starting for a league 2 club. Losing Cook is not the issue, its the fact we havent replaced him with better.

 

Probably but that would make them ĺook like grade A twats ........ i know folk didnt rate him or didnt think he was good enough at this level but can anyone one of them nsme a BETTER striker at this club before he went ??????
Ok saying he wasnt good in a press but we stopped doing that months ago so why get rid of your best striker without a replacement.
I honestly believe with the mass exodus of players that something has gone on behind closed doors ............

 

I would as well, he's currently the only target man forward we have at the club so far. Watching the game at Lincoln last night I'd have loved us to have a striker in the mould of Draper, he was an expert in pinning our defenders. What Lincoln have done is send Draper out to Walsall, Street out to Donny on loan and it's reaped the rewards this season. Having Ibbotson out at Chorley however isn't really setting him up for League One football.

 

Its a big issue when you aint got anyone within the current squad to step up ............put it this way i bet he would hsve had more goals than our current CF had he played the same matches .............. i bet the wingers would have been more confident to put balls in knowing that there was some kind of focal point .........punts upfield would have at least be challenged for.
Would he have made a difference we dont know but he would have been a bigger danger than what we have got up top now.

 

Wouldnt have any young player anywhere near tat set up we all know whats incoming and dont be decked if Pointon starts getting it in the neck all vecause these loons at the top have created this.

Lincoln have been at this level for 7 seasons slowly building into a very good side.

 

It seems to me like we’ve changed tack during the transfer window. Getting rid of Cook because he didnt fit the system. Now we are considering tweaking the system because results have nosedived.

 

What I want to know is why we no longer press after it served us so well. The last three games have been probably the toughest of the season and even if we had been at our best we would have struggled for points.but it’s the manner of the performances and lack of application that is a mystery and worrying

 

Anyone looks a good side up against that shite ..........still you made excuses for 6 years of dire shite at LG2 level was we also building up to be a good side

 

Which other “PR signings “ do you have in mind ?

 

And what was “that Shite” doing for the previous twenty odd games

All the “bring them home” bollox. Wright was one. There was another - even had a video of him coming into the players lounge and high fiving people. Was that Wright? Maybe Pereira. Wouldn’t rule out Billy Clarke walking through the doors.
